The NIBCO® Press System® 1/2 IN standard pressing jaw is intended for use with the PC-280 press tool or the PC-100 press tool. The pressing jaw is installed in the appropriate pressing tool. When the trigger on the pressing tool is depressed a crimp is made. The pressing jaws must close completely to ensure a leak-free connection. When properly crimped, a unique N witness mark is clearly visible.
