Account Manager
We are seeking a full-time outside salesperson with automated valve sales experience and product knowledge.
Job duties include visiting customer offices and job sites; prospecting new customers; developing and maintaining strong relationships to generate and close sales opportunities; meeting or exceeding monthly required gross profit dollar targets; working with "key" vendors to promote products and increase sales through joint calls; and selling all products within our valve offering. Our Valve Automation Sales Technicians work both independently within their own account responsibilities as well as working alongside our General Line Account Managers in joint sales activities providing technical support for Automated Valve products and services.
Qualified candidates include those with previous account management experience and knowledge of Pneumatic and Electric Automation as well as Instrument and Controls. We are seeking experienced professionals with the ability to: 1) forecast and develop sales in a given territory 2) have or develop proficiency with our primary manufacturers and services in order to promote effectively to end users 3) travel in a limited territory conducting training, lunch and learn presentations, and technical support calls to OEM’s, end-users, and A&E accounts.
