The TDW PE branch saddle fitting and valve is economical both in dollars and time saved in connecting a 4 IN branch line to a polyethylene 4, 6 or 8 IN main, operating up to 100 PSI. The combination electrofusion branch fitting and PE ball valve is fused to the main, the main is then tapped through the valve, the valve closed, the temporary flange removed and the branch piping connected. This unique alternative to squeezing is built on proven technology. A smaller excavation area is required than with other options. The job is completed much faster, resulting in less labor and material and substantially reduces job costs.
