Exciting Changes Underway for Toledo P/V/F Supplier

The MACOMB GROUP (a Michigan-based Company) reaffirms its position as a pre-eminent regional Pipe/Valve/Fitting distributor by announcing promotions at its branch in Northwood, Ohio.  Formerly known as Gutek Pipe & Supply LLC, the Toledo-based location started by industry veteran James Gutek, MACOMB GROUP-TOLEDO is another key component in The MACOMB GROUP network of branches servicing Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

MACOMB GROUP–TOLEDO will help the Company service a variety of Customers in the Northern Ohio region and serve as a gateway for further expansion into Dayton and Indianapolis.  These Customers represent a vast array of industries – Mechanical Contractors, OEM’s, Steel, Chemical, Refining, Automotive, Food and Beverage, and Energy.  In addition to P/V/F, their product offering has been expanded to include Fire Protection, Gauges and Instrumentation, Hangers and Strut, Ductile Iron, and Plumbing products.

Representing major U.S. manufacturers of steel, iron, copper, and PVC products, The MACOMB GROUP services growth in the construction/renovation of schools and universities, hospitals, hotels, automotive and power plants.  This commitment to superior Customer Service requires a strong local presence.

Promoted to the role of Branch Manager at the Toledo facility is Dale Coffield, an experienced industry veteran, who will lead an initial team of twenty-two employees. There is an opportunity to add another half-dozen local workers as the Company reasserts itself as a reliable source for plumbing and piping needs.  Also being rewarded for their long, dedicated service and promoted into new roles are: Galand (Gale) Heller as the branch’s Sales Manager and Bob Bowland as Senior Outside Sales Specialist.  Jim Gutek remains involved as a valued applications consultant, intimately involved in both Sales and Purchasing efforts.
